• Sr. Design Engineer JCB INDIA LTD · Full-time Mar 2015 – Present 11 yrs 3 mos Pune, MH, India  Acquired experience on Conceptual Product Design & Development of Fastrac P471 – 8000 series & P148 – 4000 series and Telemaster TM320/ TM420 - TIER IV & STAGE V.
   Participated in UK secondment/Training (Sep – Dec’ 19) @ JCB Earthmovers, Cheadle Plant UK
   Gained an understanding about the latest developments in design & development for a stage V project TM320s & TM420s as per emission norms.
   Acquired understanding about the assembly procedure & testing stage V machines, development of machine in XP shop with UK engineers’ to attend supplier meetings to purchase the parts as per design requirements.
   Demonstrated technical excellence by managing the end to end requirements in the design & development projects. Modified Chassis Design and have been involved in Chassis GA, Chassis WA and Surrounding parts RH Pannier and LH pannier modifications.
   Designed Hydraulics – Hoses as per JCB standard, updated hydraulics system as per new design, seamlessly carried out Installation of twin Hydraulic pump (100cc)in the system, Priority valve GA installation, Torques values notes updating as per std & Hydraulic tank modification for the stage V project.
   Prepared a matrix sheet for Wheels & Tyres specifications as per different supplier details.
   Worked with the UK Engineer on Main chassis Electrical Harness design of TM320S & TM420S machines for installing proper length of harness on the stage V machine.
   Rectified or controlled issues with starting of the engine in cold weather by way of dual battery arrangement, harnessing design and hydraulics modifications.
   Achieved cost reductions by being involved in the design of Casting Counterweight assembly of TM420S and rear deck weight of P471 Tractor. Introduced modifications & enhancements in the plastic parts as per design requirement, made modifications in the bonnet related to mounting rear view camera arrangement on the bonnet. New SMART rear view mirrors and Mirrors arm (Manual & Electrical Heated) Installation on the cab.
   Achieved high customer satisfaction score by meeting their design specifications and tailoring the solutions as per their expectations.
   Tolerance stack up analysis of P471 Fastrac 8000 series chassis with supplier GKN.
