I am a Mechanical Engineer both by education and trade. I have experience in design work and project work. I am familiar with design for assembly and design for manufacture. K.I.S.S. is a principle I live by and I understand that designs should be manufacturable. I have knowledge of and experience with various fabrication processes including but not limited to 3D printing, machining, and welding. My professional certification was given to me by Texas after rigorous testing and peer review. My area of testing was in Machine Design and Materials. I can perform FEA analysis and make sense of the results, allowing me to make good engineering recommendations for a given problem. I have spent the majority of my professional career designing dP (differential pressure) flow meters in accordance to ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code as well as the accompanying ASME B31 series. I am very familiar with reading codes and standards and designing accordingly. This experience has also given me a strong understanding of GD&T. I am a good fit and so are my designs.

I am a mechanical engineer and have worked in some sort of design or manufacturing setting for almost 10 years. I specialize in helping companies do three things: 1. Making your product more cost-efficient to produce 2. Refining your product so that it is easy for the customer to use 3. Accelerating your development process. I know speed is key when getting any new project started so I get you what you need ASAP. Some of my accomplishments so far -Helped a company that raised 500k in crowdfunding to develop the product they are now selling, reducing their manufacturing cost by over 20% -Helped a company raise their first round of funding by designing and prototyping their first product -Worked with product development firms with large customers to work out kinks in their designs and fabricate their prototypes -Worked with another crowdfunding campaign to make develop their beta-testing product. -Designed tooling for robotic arms to automate manufacturing processes resulting in massive reduction in labor cost I am proficient in the following disciplines -SolidWorks 2018 -Inventor 2018 -FEA (Finite Element Analysis - finding the weak points in a structural design) -Rapid prototyping (3D Printing, CNC Machining, etc.) -Design for manufacturing I work with a small 3D Printing company here in Chicago that can produce very high quality 3D prints with an excellent turnaround time. I also have a complete workshop with saws/mills/drills/CNC where I can build pieces or prototypes for virtually any project. I love working with startups to get their product moving. I like the fast pace environment and love seeing something we work on go to market.

Welcome to 3rDimension Engineering. I have a bachelor’s degree of science in mechanical engineering from USC and I reside in Los Angeles. I happen to be a relentless problem solver with experience working with Solidworks to produce 3D models and technical documentation for components and assemblies. I recently developed prototype robot grippers for various robotics and factory automation systems with Numatic Engineering. These projects required careful measurement and analysis which led to 3D modeling that was often used to produce drawings for manufacturing or support. In many cases I used 3D printing to create fast, economical, functional prototype components for use in live automation demonstrations. Due to my interest and success in producing 3D modeling and mechanical documentation using Solidworks, I have decided to freelance my skills to further increase my experience and capabilities. I offer the following services using Solidworks: -3D modeling of components and assemblies -Mechanical Drafting of components and assemblies using rectangular tolerance (GD&T offered for certain projects) -FEA Reporting available for components (displacements, 1st principle stresses, VM stresses) -Frequency Analysis Reports available for components
