The arts have been a part of Bobbi Hillman’s life since a very young age. She comes from an artistic family, and always knew that she would pursue a career that would involve art of some form. Combined with a fascination of video games and technology, Bobbi soon came to realize that all of her passions could be combined into a career. Growing up she learned many different styles of art from pencil to watercolor, mixed media and even pottery; but never truly found her passion until she discovered she could incorporate all of these styles into Game Design. A fresh new mind in the industry, she strives every day continuing to improve and grow with her art and has a drive to gain knowledge. Taking on a full time academic program at the Art Institute of Salt Lake City, Bobbi continues to grow, learning her strengths and specialties. Throughout her time in school she has obtained a true passion for texture art. She is able to incorporate those past art forms that she learned, and channel them through to her textures. Bobbi started from simply using various images and pictures, and has now grown to hand painting every fine detail and texture you see in her work. She breaks new bounds every time she textures a different piece, and even pushes herself to learn new painting programs and techniques. With great skill in Photoshop she has continued on to learn new artistry in programs such as Substance Painter and Substance Designer. I'm here to cook up some 3D assets for video games. I'm a jack-of-all-trades sort of 3D artist. I can model 3D objects, rig objects for animation, make textures for models, and I'm half-decent with character animation. I prefer to export work as .fbx and .obj files that are easily brought into game engines, as well as prefabs for ease-of-use for the client. I get pissed if my models don't work in Unity and will make sure they work in-engine in a blank Unity project, or in the client's project if desired. I have considerable experience with Unity 3D, and know how to use Gitlab and Github in case the client wants me to be sure my models work in the project before paying. I can do basic C# programming as well, in case the client wants some basic functionality out-of-the-box, though preferably lighter on that category as I'm an artist at heart. I prefer low-poly artstyles as I find it most appealing personally, such as my profile photo. I love video games and have worked on them. Hello, my name is Robert. I am a 3D modeling and graphic design expert with over 20 years experience making, rigging and animating models using the program 3DS Max. I also have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree for Graphic Design and Film Production from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. I have spent many years making thousands of models to all levels of detail, creating textures, lighting, rigging and animating in 3D. I have been making characters, vehicles, organic and architectural models as a hobby since I was in high school. I also have a passion for developing Virtual Reality applications and am quite skilled at blueprint programming in Unreal Engine 4. I have designed several projects from start to finish and know the entire pipeline of game development from concept to final execution. I am extremely adept at using programs like Adobe Photoshop to edit photos and create custom textures. I have a great deal of experience using programs like Pro Tools for creating and editing sound effects. I know html coding and have created several websites using the Mac program iWeb. Summary: - About 2 years of experience in the field. - Learning every day - I do mostly 3D modeling, texturing, animation and rendering. - I wanna gain experience and help people get their job done - The applications I use are Blender 3D, Davinci Resolve, and GIMP. - If the job is beyond my knowledge, I will say this to the employer and try to learn the thing ASAP - Having income would be good, but now I just wanna work in the field. *** Long version *** Personal life: My first encounter with CGI and VFX was in 1999 and the movie "The Matrix". Since then, I become obsessed with CGI and always wanted to create things I imagine in my mind. I'm graduating in Software Engineering but I wanna work in the CGI and VFX field in the near future. I would love to do freelancing. It will give me the options to choose and also I can meet a lot of people, know their needs and get things done as soon as possible with the highest quality imagined. I'm kind of a perfectionist in my life. I won't stop working on things till they are finished in the fashion I like them to be. Profession: I started learning 3d modeling in 2019. I started with Maya and after a while, I switched to Blender 3D. I keep learning stuff every day since then. The things I do mostly (till now) are 3D modeling, animation, texturing, and post-processing with either Blender or Davinci Resolve. At this point, I consider myself an intermediate in my area of work. The most important thing for me to work as a freelancer is having good communication with the employer so we could get things done in a good way.
