I have in depth knowledge of the FDM process and how to optimise for: print speed, strength, and quality. Prize winner in many online 3D printing and design competitions, winning approximately Β£2000 worth of prizes in the past three years: Polymaker β3D printed hook tournament: Second place. A combination of mechanical engineering, creative design and DfAM to create the strongest possible 3D printed polymer hook (no closed loop) weighing less than 50g. Sheet Metal feature was primarily used to design new parts/prototypes. β’ Worked on a redesign project of partitions and shelf units for new series of vans. Analysis was done using Solidworks to verify necessary design changes. β’ Worked on a feasibility study to enhance production and supply chain management. ACADEMIC PROJECTS SYSTEM CONTROLS LABORATORY January 2018 - March 2018 β’ Modelled a closed loop control system using PID controllers in Matlab Simulink to controlrotary response of flexible joint. β’ Performance of the system was compared with open loop system and the analysis was throughly documented.
