I am passionate about leveraging technical skills, material science, and process optimization to push the boundaries of design and technology. Creative problem-solving is a skill I honed while co-directing four international medical research trips to Kathmandu, Nepal, and Lima, Peru. As the Director of Logistics, I navigated massive logistical challenges conducting medical research in impoverished regions, following a sacred pilgrimage to a 15,000ft lake during monsoon season. These experiences and the resulting publications led me to co-found a medical device start-up based on our research in Nepal and Peru. As a co-creator of the BioSherpa™ Specimen Transport System (STS), I led the product design of the physical component of the STS, from concept through CAD modeling, prototyping, and 3D printing production, contributing to BioSherpa’s receipt of a patent. I am open to opportunities in technical design, experiential exhibits, science/technology innovation, and additive manufacturing.
