A BOM, also known as the product structure or the bill of materials, is one of the most important documents for the production of a wide variety of products. Simply put, the BOM includes a list of all the sub-components, parts, intermediate assemblies as well as sub-assemblies and quantities that you need in order to create a finalized product.
