About
I am a mechanical engineer with strong expertise in mechanical product development and agricultural machinery, currently working as a Design Engineer at AGCO. I specialize in the design and optimization of feederhouse and residue management systems for Fendt IDEAL and Massey Ferguson combine harvesters, using Creo Parametric and Windchill for 3D CAD modeling and product lifecycle management. My work incorporates Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles, Top-Down Design methodology and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards, contributing to robust and cost-effective product solutions.
My technical background includes thermal and mechanical calculations, fluid simulations CFD, Finite Element Analysis - FEA, failure analysis, DFMEA, PLC programming, P&ID design, sensor specifications, integration and comissioning and risk analysis HazOp. I also have hands-on experience in design, maintenance engineering, commissioning, and inspection of thermal systems such as steam boilers, pressure vessels, biomass conveyors, and industrial fans, as well as experience with steel structures in industrial environments.
In the Oil & Gas and Offshore Engineering sectors, I worked as a Technical Manager, Contracts Manager and Responsible Engineer, leading maintenance projects for plate heat exchangers and printed circuit heat exchangers on Petrobras platforms (P66 to P69). I also gained experience with thermal machine manufacturers, including steam turbines and centrifugal and reciprocating compressors.
Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at UFRGS, focusing on energy efficiency and combustion simulation in porous media burners. My research involves Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) using ANSYS Fluent and the Flamelet Generated Manifold (FGM) technique to model laminar flame propagation in porous structures. I also hold a Master’s in Industrial Automation and Control Engineering, and a technical degree in Mechatronics.
My goal is to integrate advanced simulation tools, robust engineering design, and real-world project management to deliver innovative, sustainable, and high-performance solutions across the agriculture and energy sectors.
Beyond my professional life, I am an amateur rugby player for Charrua Rugby Clube, competing in championships such as the SUPER 12 (the first division of the Brazilian Rugby XV Championship) and the Gaúcho Rugby XV Championship.
