• Mechanical Detail Design Engineer Greenlight Innovation · Full-time Apr 2019 – Present 6 yrs 1 mos Burnaby, BC, Canada - Leads detailed design of mechanical parts and assemblies, CAD model development with SolidWorks, and creation of Bill of Materials processes for the complex and custom testing stations product line for Automotive, alternative energy and hydrogen technology customers from Asia, Europe, and North America.

  - Partners with the Electrical Engineering team to design electrical sheet metal enclosures with efficient cable entry cutouts and routing and adequate airflow for ventilation, as well as to design mounting panels for user interface electrical connectors to ensure easy access and safety.
  
  - Designs leak-proof hydrogen and other gas circulation systems utilizing tri-clamp sanitary connections and welded flanges for high-pressure applications.
  
  - Develops a range of CNC-machined and waterjet-cut metal plates and polycarbonate panels for mounting and safety protection purposes.

  - Implemented end-to-end workflow processes connecting design operations to CNC production, enabling seamless data transfer from mechanical drawings to machining, improving accuracy and accelerating production timelines.
