I am also a US Navy veteran. While working at United Launch Alliance (ULA) I supplied 3D CAD models from the engineering group to the tooling supplier enabling concurrent design of manufacturing tooling. I also supported the ordnance group by designing a stage separation component test stand. I have also designed more than 450 FAA certified components for the Adam A500 aircraft. I have more than 30 years of experience in the manufacturing field with a focus on medical product development including equipment design and process development. I have spent the last 4 years working as a consultant doing both medical device product design as well as designing automated assembly and test equipment. For the medical device design, a major portion of the work involved identifying and qualifying manufacturing partners that would be used and then implementing manufacturing procedures and processes as required. I would work with the vendors to identify cost effective plans for startup manufacturing and develop prototypes that allowed us to verify design intent as well as test and verify production methods and procedures. I also worked with the vendors to establish a longer term ramp plan as quantities to be produced increase. My consulting work also included designing and building several pieces of semi-automated assembly and test equipment for use in clean rooms by medical device manufacturers.

I am a mechanical and medical device design engineer with 15+ years of experience. I specialize in patient-specific implants, trauma plates, spinal implants, and custom surgical instruments. I have designed nearly all types of trauma plates in lattice structure. This is significantly more complex than standard trauma plate design — something most engineers who draw conventional plates cannot achieve. I have hands-on experience with titanium and PEEK materials, lattice structures, and Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM). In 2014, I designed the anatomical S-channels for Ankara’s first metal 3D printing project — a challenge no other engineer had solved at the time. Based in Ankara, Turkey. In case you're looking for a design engineering that is detail-oriented and really listen what the client has to say, you just found it. During the faculty I learnt how to use the CAD softwares. On that period, I practiced on the AutoCAD and AutoDesk. I fell in love with this domain, so I want to continue working here. Curios what else I know? Well, I graduated the Faculty of Medical Engineering in Romania. There I have learnt about how to design implants, medical devices and prosthesis. Also, I had courses about material resistance, mechanical engineering and nanomaterials.
