I work in the area of Computational fluid dynamics. Currently, I am pursuing PhD from IIT-Bombay which is expected to be completed in this year (i.e., 2021). My top skills are CFD simulations using ANSYS-Fluent and OpenFoam. I am currently working on exploring flight dynamics of a dragonfly numerically (using OpenFoam, Ansys-Fluent) and experimentally (using particle image velocimetry, flow visualization). The motivation behind study is to develop micro aerial vehicle.

    (a) Exploring flight dynamics of a dragonfly with the motivation to develop an efficient unmanned aerial vehicle.
    This project includes following:
    A. Design & Development of experimental setups for particle Image velocimetry experiments (PIV).
    B. PIV-based experiments on dragonfly-inspired corrugated wing in flapping motion.
    C. Post processing of the PIV experimental data through MATLAB & Tecplot.
    D. CFD simulations using ANSYS-Fluent, OpenFOAM on dragonfly-inspired corrugated wing in flapping motion.
    E. Assessing the performance of RC aircraft with dragonfly-inspired wing through 3D CFD simulations on supercomputing facility at IIT Bombay.
    (b) Exploring the effects of superhydrobhobicity on the flow dynamics of static and dynamics objects with the motivation develop an efficient under-water vehicle.
    This project includes following:
    A. Particle Image velocimetry-based experiments in water tunnel on superhydrobhobic NACA0012 hydrofoil in flapping motion and superhydrobhobic circular cylinder.
