About
Welcome to my profile 😀
I’m Pramodh, Mechanical Design Engineer currently working at Specdrum Engineering, specialising in CAD-driven 3D modelling and 2D technical drawings for industrial components and conveyor pulley systems. I create precise, production-ready CAD models and drawings that meet strict manufacturing standards.
I hold an MSc in Mechanical Engineering with Management from Queen’s University Belfast, where I focused on design, modelling and optimisation of engineering components using SolidWorks. My master’s project on Type-IV hydrogen composite pressure vessels strengthened my design-for-manufacture skills and my ability to integrate CAD with practical production needs.
In addition to my industrial design experience, I’m proficient in FDM 3D printing, using it to produce custom-made prototypes and functional parts, bridging the gap between digital design and real-world manufacturing.
• Skilled in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, and Lantek
• Expertise in 3D part & assembly modelling and 2D manufacturing drawings
• Hands-on experience in FDM 3D printing for prototyping and custom designs
• Strong background in design-for-manufacturing and lean production principles
• Dedicated to clear communication, accuracy, and on-time delivery
