• Senior Mechanical Design Engineer EKA KNORR BREMSE · Full-time Jun 2020 – Present 5 yrs 11 mos North Macedonia In my current position as a mechanical design engineer and also a project leader at EKA KNORR BREMSE, my main role is to design new prototypes and test benches by writing suitable test procedures for the railway industry in the braking sector.
  Scope of work/Tasks:
  
  Project Lead
  - Evaluating the necessary resources and activities in a time frame (project plan)
  - Managing a team of 3-5 co-workers
  - Analyzing problems and offered mechanical solutions to existing problems.
  -Manage the interaction between complex subsystems and their related calibrations, to ensure System performance and robustness is optimized, maximizing the reliability of the testing.
  
  Mechanical Designer
  -Conceptualize, design, and develop mechanical components and systems.
  -Utilize CAD software to create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings and illustrate custom, accurate designs to clients
  -Complete and release component designs and documentation, produce Bill of Materials
  -Work closely with manufacturing team to ensure smooth transition from design to production.
  -Specify, develop, test, analyze, improve & integrate new mechatronic systems in our R&D projects.
  
  Creation and execution of validation for test benches
  -Testing and validating system functioning
  - Preparing technical documentation for CE certification of the equipment
  - Generating systems user manuals
  Results:
