I began designing and fabricating innovative new equipment for lumber processing and material handling. I invented and patented an automated processing machine for stacking lumber. At XR MUSICA LTD, we have developed a digital therapeutic solution combining a Virtual immersive Musical Reality Intervention (ViMRI) and eXtended Reality (XR) music technology. Our intervention leverages immersive musical experiences and conversational AI-guided environments, immersing users into tailored virtual settings based on personalised profiles, including likes, dislikes, and needs. Our idea is that this can lead to a faster and more stable acquisition of social and behavioural skills and a reduction of anxiety and mental health problems. As an early-stage seed (start-up company), all prototype development for our musical instrument and intervention has been exclusively developed by myself. As a highly skilled 3D and CAD design engineer, my advanced skills in rapid prototyping, rendering, animation and additive manufacturing are put to use whilst I embark on securing funding for my project.
