Most control panel design for assembly equipment. This sometimes included the PLC and HMI programming. I have also done many projects for the aircraft industry such as product testing controls. When the need has arisen I have also designed small circuit boards to provide custom interfaces between 2 systems and used a SBC to create a custom protocol converter. I was recently laid off due to the downturn in the economy.

These projects were primarily large assembly lines for automotive manufacturers. Duties included managing the build team to assemble panels and wire machines. Completed delivery and debug to the customer. As program manager I translated the customer needs into a concept design which I used to work with the mechanical engineering department to design the machines. I also worked with the sales department for quoting of new assembly equipment along with engineering changes for previously delivered equipment.
