I'm a mechanical engineer with over 4 years of experience in designing machines and tooling for manufacturing. Most of my work has been in 3D modeling (mainly in Creo), solving design-related problems in real-world projects, and preparing technical drawings.
I’ve worked on both larger machines and smaller assemblies, usually as part of a team but also independently. I focus on clean and functional design, and I always try to keep things practical and well-documented.

I led the mechanical design of an automated winding machine from initial concept to an advanced development stage, reaching approximately 80% completion. The machine included several key subsystems such as a custom drive unit, a winding mechanism with adjustable core diameter, a mechanical gripper with automatic pickup, and a transport system (with vertical motion yet to be finalized). My responsibilities covered full 3D modeling, assembly design, detailing, component selection, and preparation of technical documentation using Siemens NX. Throughout the project, I was required to make practical design decisions and solve mechanical challenges based on limited initial input and evolving requirements.

From July 2022 to December 2024, I worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer. One of the key projects I worked on during that time was the design of a specialized roller assembling machine for Applied Materials, valued at approximately €100,000. I was the sole mechanical designer on the project and was responsible for creating and developing design solutions in line with customer requirements, which were subject to final approval. The work involved full 3D modeling, technical drawings for manufacturing, welding, and assembly, and the application of DFM and DFA principles to ensure efficiency in production and assembly. I performed targeted stress and bending checks on critical components and contributed to CE compliance by assisting in the documentation process in line with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. I also acted as the main technical contact between Kostwein and Applied Materials. Besides that, I supported a cost-reduction project for BOBST through redesign of existing parts, and regularly helped solve internal assembly-related issues with quick, practical design adjustments.
