This has taught me to always imagine the assembly process and keep an eye out for any design choices that could make manufacturing more difficult or downright impossible. My hands on experience comes from spending time working on a Sheet Metal Fibre laser, producing the flat parts for assembly as well as hand on assembly in an IoT device that was manufactured using 3D printing.
