I am a student at the University of Arizona, and I am currently studying the the FE exam. I have completed numerous projects for both my high school robotics group, and the Wildcat Battle Bots group at the U of A. In the Wildcat Battle Bots group I helped utilize SolidWorks for 2 years to create 2 different battle bots. These bots netted 7th and 10th places respectively at the end of the year competition the club hosts. I am also an Eagle Scout, and to gain my rank I completed a massive project. This project utilized SolidWorks to create a plant nursery for the Sikes Adobe House, a historical site part of the San Digueto River Park. Additionally, this year I worked on a research project where I had to come up with a mechanism to rotate a nozzle over a test tube such that it can hit it at certain angles. To accomplish this, the mechanism used a series of gears to translate the nozzle, while also rotating it. This allowed for the nozzle to be aimed at different orientations without the need for additional pistons or linear actuators.
