With SolidWorks, I used to design new machines from scratch, developed existing design for higher efficiency, supplied BOM for cost estimation and material purchase, drafted GD&T based Drawings for manufacturing units, Rendered the machine design and Simulated them to test specific mechanisms. With AutoCAD, I used to create Sheet Metal Nesting files, which are necessary for Laser Cutting.
