I am a B.E. Mechanical Engineering graduate with 1+ years of experience as Design Draft Man in a Machine Manufacturing company. Main design software used in my previous job include SolidWorks and AutoCAD. With SolidWorks, I used to design new machines from scratch, developed existing design for higher efficiency, supplied BOM for cost estimation and material purchase, drafted GD&T based Drawings for manufacturing units, Rendered the machine design and Simulated them to test specific mechanisms. With AutoCAD, I used to create Sheet Metal Nesting files, which are necessary for Laser Cutting. In addition to design, I also used to govern the Production flow in manufacturing unit and involved in quality checking. All of these are done along with maintaining proper documentation.
