I am a senior mechanical engineering product designer, specialist in 3D CAD design and FEA of sheet metal and heavy steel fabrication with 16 years of experience. I am passionate about CAD design and analysis, with strong focus on technical documentation and drawing detail accuracy. This includes 3D and 2D fabrication and assembly drawings in Solid Works, Creo (including Windchill) and Inventor (including Vault) as well as considerable FEA experience (Including ANSYS non-linear). I have designed a wide variety of product across many sub disciplines of mechanical engineering (Structures, driveline, suspension, hydraulics, composites… etc.). I have successfully taken many complex projects from concept to production, often reducing complexity and yielding significant cost savings all while complying with the relevant international standards.

I have significant experience in mechanical engineering and manufacturing principles and have owned and operated by own mechanical engineering business which involved manufacturing and fabrication. I produce 3d mechanical designs and drawings utilising strict engineering principles and experience gained from working as a mechanical engineer for 16 years+. Additionally I have a formal mechanical engineering honours degree with very good academic results and was inducted in the Golden Key international academic honours society.

Hello and thanks for reading my Bio. I'm a mechanical engineer with 2D drafting, 3D modelling and CAE experience. My drafting experience include product, prototype and machine design. I design various products for the Aerospace, Defence, Commercial, Medical, Marine and Industrial sectors. I basically involved in the ideation/conceptual phase, design, prototype and testing of the product. I also have project management experience and often work with startups. Software that I use are AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, SketchUp, ANSYS, SimScale, FreeCAD, Keyshot, Meshmixer and 3D builder. My curriculum vitae is available on request. Available for any questions.
