My backgrounds consist of developing concepts and engineered mechanical designs, managing designs from concept phase through modeling and detailing, providing technical support to manufacturing and assembly during the build phase. I’m able to analyze the principles of motion, energy, and force—ensuring that designs function safely, efficiently, and reliably, all at a competitive cost. I have the creativity, knowledge and analytical tools to complete the difficult task of shaping an idea into reality. • Mechanical design engineer with a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University • Over 4 years of working experience in 3D modeling and structural analysis using CAD and FEA software programs • Thorough understanding of design and analysis procedures, and proper material selection to ensure safety and optimal functionality of final product • Demonstrated proficiency in using SolidWorks, CATIA and Ansys through various school projects and past internship experiences • My capstone project required me to design a compact device, from a bulkier version, which harnessed nano aqueous ozone generator device components. The device intends to replace commercial detergents in the market with nano aqueous ozonated water to kill microbes • My internship at Albabtain Power and Telecommunication Co. saw me design components such as base flange, poles, and other accessories and assembled these components together, created drawing sheets ready to be used by fabricators, and worked on optimizing the components for optimal performance and cost reduction • At ITW, I used Ansys to compare the performance of a regular steel dowels used in concrete to a waveform shaped joint and conducted a full factorial DoE on the said waveform joint to determine the design with optimal results. Also, I suggested configurations and solutions to a production machine's rotary disc that failed due improper constraint based on intensive FEA analysis and design optimization
