I am a mechanical/manufacturing engineer with over 15 years experience in design engineering. For the last 5 years I have served as lead mechanical design engineer various companies in the energy storage industry. For the 10 years prior to that, I worked as gauge and fixture designer for a leading firearms company, where I was tasked with plant-wide fixture and gauge design for a multitude of products. I’m a CAD/CAM designer with real machine-shop experience, specializing in CNC-ready models, mechanical parts, fixtures, tooling, prototypes, and manufacturing-focused design. Unlike a designer who only models for appearance, I build files with the manufacturing process in mind. I understand mills, lathes, tooling, workholding, materials, tolerances, and the practical details that determine whether a part can actually be made.
