I am a detail-oriented designer and engineer who thrives on unique, challenging and creative projects. I have been trained in mechanical, electrical, and industrial engineering. I excel in engineering design and computer aided drafting. I have a passion for continuous improvement and thinking outside the box. I have been a designer since 2004. that year I started taking engineering classes while I was still in highschool. Early in my education I was fortunate to be entered into an engineering competition (SkillsUSA) and won first place at the state level and second at the national level. When I entered college my main focus was mechanical engineering I have continued my education in electrical and structural engineering. This gives me the advantage when designing because I can foresee design issues due to electrical, manufacturing, or structural requirements.

My expertise lies at a unique crossroads between artistic design and mechanical engineering. As a freelance designer, I offer clients a rare combination: strong creative sensibility, supported by a practical engineering foundation. For entrepreneurs, artists and inventors seeking to turn a concept into a physical object, I can help take the project beyond design: identifying suitable manufacturers and gathering quotes. My education and early professional career gave me the vital tools for mechanical product design: sound CAD modeling and drawing practices, design for manufacturability, comparing quotes, sourcing and vetting manufacturers, and using a top-down design approach to create solutions which fulfill their performance, space, and cost requirements. I have thrived taking on challenges which call for inventive solutions. Feeling inclined toward more creative expression, I started designing and making jewelry, repurposing my mechanical design background to create innovative gemstone and pearl settings. This evolved into my own fashion brand, carving a niche for high-precision, sculptural-mechanical jewelry and accessories with an otherworldly design language which pays tribute to futurism and science fiction.
