I am a detail-oriented designer and engineer who thrives on unique, challenging and creative projects. I have been trained in mechanical, electrical, and industrial engineering. I excel in engineering design and computer aided drafting. I have a passion for continuous improvement and thinking outside the box. I have been a designer since 2004. that year I started taking engineering classes while I was still in highschool. Early in my education I was fortunate to be entered into an engineering competition (SkillsUSA) and won first place at the state level and second at the national level. When I entered college my main focus was mechanical engineering I have continued my education in electrical and structural engineering. This gives me the advantage when designing because I can foresee design issues due to electrical, manufacturing, or structural requirements.

After graduating from the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology with a degree in Architectural Technology, I began my career as an architectural drafter, using my skills to create detailed drawings of buildings and structures. I then gained experience in architectural metal fabrication drafting, working on the design and production of metal components for use in construction projects. In addition to my drafting experience, I also have a B.S. in Construction Technology - Management, which gave me a thorough understanding of the construction process and how to effectively manage projects from start to finish. Over the course of my 20-year career in the construction and design industry, I gained extensive experience in project management, including 10 years in the glazing and metal panel industry. In this role, I have been responsible for a wide range of tasks, including estimating, producing informational and action submittals, creating shop drawings, material takeoff, material buyout management, project scheduling, budgeting, change order management, billing, and project closeout documentation.

I have 3 years of experience working in various design and engineering roles and have a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering. I've worked in labs, offices, shops, and plant floors -- this broad experience allows me to tackle many design challenges. I enjoy taking products from idea to working prototype by using research, drafting, analysis, and testing. I have experience working with startups to identify customer needs and set development timelines. I prefer to build a strong, long-term relationship with my clients and have flexible availability for calls and video conferences.
