I am an Engineering Manager at an industrial rotating equipment manufacturer in the United States with 12+ years of experience in package design, product development, 2D and 3D CAD work, sales drawings, preliminary layouts, P&IDs, and more. My expertise is in rotating equipment, specifically centrifugal pumps, vacuum pumps, and compressors from 1.5 HP (1 kW) to upwards of 1,000 HP (750 kW). I have also had experience in other pneumatic applications as well as office furniture design. I have designed piping runs (including valves, gauges, transmitters, other instrumentation), structural steel frames, gear reducers, V-Belt driven equipment, selected motors, designed for adherence to stringent specifications, and communicate regularly directly with customers. I am finishing my Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology and will continue to pursue my MBA after that. I am offering services in Solidworks 2019 (2D & 3D) and Draftsight (2D) and can save files in any of the supported formats (i.e. .SLDPRT, .SLDASM, .SLDDRW, .STEP, .DWG, etc.) If you are looking for a quick layout, concept, or have a small part that needs to be modeled in 3D I can make that happen. If you need a full blown design with detailed 2D drawings I can make that happen as well. I oversee my projects from start to completion!

I graduated from the University of Arkansas in the Spring of 2016 with a BS in Biomedical Engineering with Pre-Med distinctions. I hold minors in English, History, and Mathematics. While attending University I contributed part time as an Undergraduate Research Assistant for Dr. Narasimhan Rajaram Ph.D. in the development of optical imaging instrumentation and biomarkers for cancer diagnosis and monitoring tumor response to therapy. My primary curriculum focus included Neurology, Nano technology, Advanced Prosthesis, and integration of bio technologies involving the neurological pathways, 3D design, 3D printing, CAD drafting, Structural engineering, and Mechanical Engineering techniques. I currently hold the position of Design Engineer for Berkley Industries. My primary focus is developing new and innovative mechanical and Industrial devices for a myriad of clients for a variety of needs. I previously held the position of Principle Design Engineer for R&R Solutions in Gravette Arkansas. I oversaw in charge all engineering projects, and custom design projects from the initial concept to the production run. I had the privilege of holding a position with NX Utilities as the Regional Quality Engineer for the Midwest. I planned and directed activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial design , materials, and products related to the fiber optic network pathways for major utility conglomerates. Before my NX days, I held the title of Engnieer/Designer for Advanced Lightening Technologies. I lead a team focused on R&D of advanced lightning protection systems using CAD and scale model simulations. In my spare time I enjoy being with my family, traveling to new places, country dancing, playing as many sports as possible, and the occasional Netflix binge.

I love thinking big, creating inspiring ideas, and putting in the hard work to bring those ideas to reality. That big idea might be something small that improves your workflow, or perhaps bigger. I am a hands-on technical designer and problem solver with expertise in CAD modeling, fabrication, and prototyping for mechanical, exhibit, and research applications. I specialize in precision design, interactive experiences, and scientific instrumentation. My extensive background in mechanical and structural design, rapid prototyping, and fabrication workflows allows me to support projects across museum exhibits, industrial design, and high-tech research applications. I have a proven ability to develop, troubleshoot, and enhance mechanical systems, interactive experiences, and fabrication assemblies, ensuring seamless functionality and long-term reliability. As a Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA) with advanced proficiency in SolidWorks and experience in Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp, I am skilled in 3D modeling, technical documentation, and CNC machining, with an eye toward design for manufacturability (DFM). I deliver high-performance solutions in both commercial and research environments through collaboration with engineers, scientists, and creatives to produce innovative, functional, and efficient designs. I excel in leading fabrication projects from concept to execution, integrating digital modeling with hands-on craftsmanship. I am passionate about leveraging technical skills, material science, and process optimization to push the boundaries of design and technology. Creative problem-solving is a skill I honed while co-directing four international medical research trips to Kathmandu, Nepal, and Lima, Peru. As the Director of Logistics, I navigated massive logistical challenges conducting medical research in impoverished regions, following a sacred pilgrimage to a 15,000ft lake during monsoon season. These experiences and the resulting publications led me to co-found a medical device start-up based on our research in Nepal and Peru. As a co-creator of the BioSherpa™ Specimen Transport System (STS), I led the product design of the physical component of the STS, from concept through CAD modeling, prototyping, and 3D printing production, contributing to BioSherpa’s receipt of a patent. I am open to opportunities in technical design, experiential exhibits, science/technology innovation, and additive manufacturing.

Started working with CAD back in late 2010 at a fire alarm in Dallas Tx. There I re-drew the building layout from engineered drawings and designed fire alarm systems from a simple finish out to a complete install. I then started drafting for a family owned engineering company in Tulsa Ok. The company works in the gas and oil industry which as familiarized me in p&id's, panel layouts, instrumentations, as well as mechanical piping. I believe I have the skills to draft anything from scratch given dimensions and or specific details. I enjoy learning new things and the challenge to complete projects to the best of my abilities.

Born in Cadiz, Spain, I always had a passion for design and manufacturing. Nurturing this passion started with recreational boating where I learned about design and building from an incredible master builder. Shortly after, I joined an architectural firm on which I also developed a taste for construction and its intricacies. I was exposed to everything from blueprints to the production of scale models (maquettes). During this time, I also obtained a certificate as a Solar Project Designer through Censolar. I also worked in plumbing designing water systems for irrigation, pools, residential sanitary water, and a few other projects. My interest in design had just begun and there was a long and interesting road ahead of me. Years later in 2003, I moved to the US where I married my wife, with whom I share a beautiful kid. Moving here opened many doors and I dove into these opportunities head first. In 2004 I joined ACC and attained an AA in Mechanical Design, and from then on I have developed upon that skill. My design exposure since moving to the US has been as follows: * National Instruments, involved in virtual instrumentation design. * Alpha Slip Rings, designing custom commutators for oil drilling, radars, etc. * Sisu Devices, robots and industrial automation. * Biomedical design for Global. * Thermal tooling and mechanical solutions design for Intel, CNC machining, and where I also lead the board repair lab.
