I am a Mechanical Engineer both by education and trade. I have experience in design work and project work. I am familiar with design for assembly and design for manufacture. K.I.S.S. is a principle I live by and I understand that designs should be manufacturable. I have knowledge of and experience with various fabrication processes including but not limited to 3D printing, machining, and welding. My professional certification was given to me by Texas after rigorous testing and peer review. My area of testing was in Machine Design and Materials. I can perform FEA analysis and make sense of the results, allowing me to make good engineering recommendations for a given problem. I have spent the majority of my professional career designing dP (differential pressure) flow meters in accordance to ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code as well as the accompanying ASME B31 series. I am very familiar with reading codes and standards and designing accordingly. This experience has also given me a strong understanding of GD&T. I am a good fit and so are my designs.

To give you a quick run through, I am a product Design graduate from the University of Louisiana. During my time there, I I was part of a transit development team in the Product Design department that worked and created a new system of travel for the university. This experience led me to become a Marine Designer. I worked with a team of engineers and other designers to design and create new marine vessels. My job responsibilities entailed 3D modeling vessels for manufacturing, creating 2D construction drawings from my 3D models for the ship yards, creating renderings from my models for shipyards, image editing and creating images for company marketing. My greatest accomplishment at this job was being a part of a team that created the worlds fastest aluminum boat over 200 feet. From Marine Design, I took an opportunity as a Jewelry Designer. This is my current day job. I am challenged everyday in creating and designing 3D models that require the utmost expertise to achieve the designs complex, free-form shapes. I am a creative and self-motivated mechanical engineer who is passionate about design and particularly interested in design for manufacturing. In addition to a strong mechanical design foundation, I possess strong problem-solving and communication skills. I graduated from UPenn with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics in May 2020. While there, I gained tons of CAD, CAM, DFM, & DFA experience (engineers love acronyms, don't they). I have over 10 years of 3D modeling experience. I have worked on highly complex projects that made use of thermal and stress analysis. I have experience with solidworks, creo, inventor, NX, autocad, ansys, etc. I work on embedded electronics and have some knowledge of electrical safety and considerations to implement in my designs. I also keep in mind designing for manufacturability. I currently work on a lot of complex sheet metal designs creating high power power supplies mainly for the semiconductor industry.
