At my last place of employment, GSE Industrial Automation, I was responsible for mechanical design and program management of many simultaneous projects primarily for the Automotive Industry. A quick overview of the types of projects I have designed are; automotive parts assembly, vision and probe inspection systems, manual and automated inspection fixturing, medical tool assembly machinery, product handling and packaging, robot cells, electronics assembly and inspection, and the list goes on.
