Designed and oversaw the machining of an alternative energy project. Education: Manatee Technical Institute, 2 years or 1900 vocational credit hours of Mechanical Drafting and design completed. Currently pursuing mechanical degree with 38 credits towards degree at State College Of Florida. Work Experience: Promedica- (contract) Mechanical Designer Using SolidWorks design machined parts, ECO already existing products in accordance with customers redlines. Reversed engineered parts to incorporated new design features. Cobham- (contract) Mechanical Designer Sustaining documents using SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM vault to recover lost documents. Researching spec sheets for components used in assemblies. Modeling components per spec. sheet; per component. Creating wire lists for cable assemblies. Using Microsoft Excel to create a B.O.M.'s. Hello, I am a mechanical engineer working in the design and development industry for chemical products and processes. I've previously worked in defense contracting, automotive parts supplier, foundry & castings, plastic thermoforming, and general shop and fabrication with CNC Mill/Lathework. I have compentency in several CAD software programs but primarily use Fusion 360. I'm able to create components, assemblies, kinetic models, sheet metal flat patterns, DXF line work (laser, water, plasma), and drawings (GD&T).
