I work at a small medical device company in Pittsburgh PA. I need assistance manipulating a 3D model of a cardiac stent: bend the stent from the contracted (straight) version to the expanded (hourglass-shaped mandrel) shape to be used for FEA. The hard part is making sure to not distort or deform stent while shaping it to mandrel. This process can be done in any recommended software. I want to be trained how to do this process for future designs. I currently have the straight part in a flat 2D drawing and stl/sldprt version for the straight tube version.

Require: 1+ years of 3D modeling and FEA experience, including Solidworks.

Project timeline: start ASAP, finish before mid-May.

Project budget: <$100/hr
