Hi All,

Today I open www.cadcrowd.com and the browser warn me about security certificate

I open the site in three browsers (Firefox, Opera and Chrome) and they warn similar issue:

"This server could not prove that it is www.cadcrowd.com; its security certificate is not trusted by your computer's operating system. This may be caused by a misconfiguration or an attacker intercepting your connection."
Is there any server trouble? or only in my computer?
how to solve it?

thanks

Hi all,

Indeed, the SSL certificate has expired and we're already working on updating the certificate.
The issue will be resolved within 24 hours.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

@Alexey,

You may want to inform everyone to clear their browser history and cache in order for these changes to be reflected. The browser will cache this info and users will still see the error until they clear cookies, history and cache. Just a suggestion :)

Thanks,

Marc

@marcpreston,

The catch is that even if I describe how to clear browser cache here, the ones who have outdated browsers and still see the old certificate, won't be able to read this anyway :)
But good news are that all modern browsers don't cache expired SSL certificates and there's no need to clear any cache or history.

In order to post an answer, you need to .
