Leaside Project
I am building a new home and require innovative interior architectural design options ( kitchen, family room, living room and powder room) that will accommodate an exterior elevation that is already defined. One of the most important aspects to this assignment is the location of the interior foyer relative to the location of stairs that go up to the 2nd floor and down to the basement. The desired design of the foyer is to be defined in terms of its presence but not in a manner that it takes away from the interior space in a significant manner. Once a 1st floor layout is approved, the need to prepare a modern and eye catching interior design (with furniture, crown holding, tray ceilings, wainscotting, etc. ) with photo like renderings will be required. I have attached the exterior elevation (which is reversed to the actual location of the garage) but it provides a sense of the foyer location. I have also provided a PDF of the ground floor footprint that we have to work with. The dimensions of the foot print is fixed. This ground floor plan design is not the optimal in terms of the foyer so we are looking for innovative designs that will fit within the plan dimensions and our needs..
Digital LCD Name Tag for wine glass
We are developing a digital “Name Tag” (LCD screen) for wine glasses that will communicate with a mobile app. so people will be able to communicate with the tag via their smartphone and find their glass in case they can’t tell which wine glass is theirs...etc. We are looking for few design concept options for a prototype 3D design that we will print.
Industrial Design of a Hand Pulse Detector
We are looking for a industrial design (outlook) of a hand pulse detector. This device will consist of the following. 1) Two metal plates on the device that will come in contact with hand when grip on it. This will form a closed circuit between the plates and thereby detect the electrical pulse from the hand (refer to attached for the existing device). Ideally the area of each contact surface of the metal plate should be more than 2000 square mm. 2) A micro USB port for charging the battery. 3) Power Indicator 4) ON/OFF switch. Internal design of the device is not necessary but must cater enough room to house the below 1) 1500 square mm X 1mm (thickness) PCB 2) 750 square mm X 4mm(thickness) battery. The design shall be in 3D CAD.
iPad Accessory
To create a sun visor that would fit an iPad Air 2 and the newest Pro 9.7" model. It would need to attach to the magnetic system (so that it would not fall off during windy days). And be very aesthetically pleasing. All buttons and camera should be able to be accesses when the visor is mounted.
The ROBERT project
We would like a fresh set of eyes on our device ROBERT, a rehabilitation robot that release healthcare workers of heavy and continuous lifting which can cause physical strain and pain in the back, loin, wrists and shoulders. We aim to optimise rehabilitation through more frequently and prolonged exercises which can result in fewer complications and a faster retrieval of a patient’s strength. See more at The current look is a mixture of many components comming together which does not result in a uniform design. Further we whish to incorporate a new robot arm, made by the company KUKA, the LBR iiwa version, This will later come in a MEDtech version, similar in use but in white and with a small change to the interface base. CAD data of the industrial version can be used for this design, change is that wiring will come out of the bottom of the medtech version and not the sides like the industrial version, so completely round in base instead of the small square thing on the side of the industrial version (so no visible wires). The industrial version can be downloaded here: It is the "LBR iiwa 14 R820" found under division "KUKA Robotics".
