Looking for an electrical engineer to build a working prototype of a portable, pre-natal ultrasound scanner that runs off a smart phone App. Combine an existing medical grade ultrasonic sensor (specifications attached) with your designed PCB and a functional App to build a proof of concept. Looking for a very low bill of materials cost. Minimum acceptable BOM cost is $100.

Hello Simon, I think the product idea plausible and I am also capable of producing a working prototype. However can you be slightly more precise on the want your require for the deliverables? How do you wish us to submit the concepts? Do you want visuals of the app? Working or non working. It would be helpful to list certain deliverables at given stages I.e. visuals for the app functionality at stage.1 then how does the app communicate with the electronics (which might be on a breadboard) in a prototype format as stage 2. After the build for the housing of the electroni s in a design as stage 3. Does this make more sense? Please advise?

I really appreciate your efforts in making this contest prepaid. However I feel this is not the correct platform for your requirements. As you can see the portfolios, people here are mostly mechanical designers or graphics designers. I am doubtful about electrical engineers participating here. Again addition of app development to the requirements makes it difficult for designers here to participate. Even if you receive the entries I would like to suggest you to check the submissions properly before choosing the finalists. This seems to be an interesting project and I will definitely regret for not being able to participate in it. :)

We need to design a system that will place the sensor in the pipe in the direction of waste flow; Transmit from the sensor unit by WiFi, BLE, or Zigbee. This is a level control pump system, with 2 3HP 230V pumps and a single 230V pump. A level sensor sends a 4-20 mA signal to a Level Control with both N/O and N/C relays. 120 V Power to a 24VDC power supply is switched (ON/Off) allowing the coils for the contactors to close and the pumps can start if the level Control relay sees the level as OK.At low level a 24VDC signal tells a 5W valve to open, filling the tank to "Full".
