#6 millwork submittal
by mfmdesigns
Had a hard time trying to use your cover sheet and drawing environment, it's terrible. so I used my own.
I used to be a Project Manager for Thoren's Architectural Woodwork in Tempe Arizona. We did very high end, custom millwork in Scottsdale and Phoenix, as well as in California and Las Vegas. I not only did Shop Drawings, but I did Material take-off, order materials, sumitted Samples, coodinated with Architect and GC. I'd be more than happy to list some of my projects.
By the way, the drawings I submitted to you took me about 3 hours of work as it was similar to one I just fabricated for a project in Dubai.

the " detail request pdf " has everything in it for the job. provide a sample of 1 of the drawing/workorders listed on the front page showing a plan view, elevation, vertical and horizontal sections.
so, shall i produce any one of the sample drawing for your reference, from which you will allot the work and you will provide millwork architectural drawings to proceed further. Right?
Ok Thanks
Put it there as a template for shop drawings to be submitted on.
What is inside in 'ABLE WOORWORK' drawing file. Couldn't find anything in it.
Only one XREF missing from it. AW-SD logo is missing from the drawing and other than that drawing is empty.
Can we ignore this attachment drawing.
Pl confirm
Thanks

Home Expansion/Addition
Would like to expand kitchen, add large great room with high ceilings possibly vaulted, with back porch and grilling area, and pool. Would like back porch to span across entire back of the house over looking the pool area. Pool should be screened in.
Design our Preschool!
We are building a cool new Preschool, based on the idea of an Exploratorium/Preschool hybrid experience with a genetic learning arcade. Portably 4-6 classrooms. Need to meet current state and san francisco city standards. Looking for 60+ students, the more we can accommodate with mindful design to mitigate crowding, the better. This is a chance to build something really cool.
Preschool and Datacenter
A fun mixed-use development in this 2 story building with my wife's Preschool with learning arcade on top, plus a small european style coffee shop, with a common reception area. Then my datacenter downstairs in the 5000 ft2 basement.
8.5' x 40' Wide Clear Span Modular Box
Looking for visual representation of an idea for 8.5' wide modular construction for single and multifamily applications.
The idea is to create 8.5' W x 40' L (Max) modular "boxes" that stack upon one another and connect at floor and ceiling allowing smooth ceilings and transitions (no bulk heads or furr downs at ceiling transitions). The idea being at 8.5' max span the loads will be minimal and allow for up to 40' (?) clear spans on non exterior walls.
The floor systems would need to be of floor truss construction with a 9-1/4" depth, with the 1st floor being a flat type (or bottom mount) with the 2nd floor being a flat type on exterior walls and top chord mount on clear span side. Sub floor will be 3/4" T&G. The exterior walls would be 2x4 or 2x6 studs at 9' height finished on the outside with 7/16 osb and 1/2" drywall on the inside. The ceilings would be 2x4 or 2x6" joist with a layer of 7/16" and drywall on bottom chord that would be mounted on the double top plate of the exterior wall and flush mounted w/ metal hangers on a 3.5" x 11-7/8" glu-lam or LVL (2-ply 1.75"). The LVL or glu-lam would run the length of the "box" (max 40') and would support the 2nd story floor truss on the top mounted side.
Deliverable:
I need a visual representation of the above, one each of the four of the types of "boxes" as noted (one 1st floor with 3 exteriors walls, one 2nd floor with 3 exteriors walls, one 1st floor with only end walls and one 2nd floor with only end walls, all finished as noted (drywall, osb etc.). 3D would be preferable, but 2D would work as well. This is a tool to share with designers and engineers to create a proof of concept, what I am needing at this current time is just the concept in digital form.
New House Floorplan
We are seeking a 2d floorplan for a new house. Your design response should consider:
1. The attached brief
2. The attached site plan (pdf and dwg)
If the brief is unclear or incomplete, please let me know and I will adjust it or provide clarity.
There is flexibility to move some elements between rooms - so if you have have suggestions or recommended changes, please let me know.
The design should provide a floorplan for the house and landscaped areas.
You can use any software you wish. However, designs must be provided to scale in PDF format such that they can be printed on A3 paper. The scale must be shown on the drawing.
