Original Sketches to DWG Re-Draft / Conversion (2 weeks)

in CAD Design held by Jim Cristow
Contest Closed
Required is to convert original architectural sketches into layered DWG drawings. The unit of interest is the first unit from right to left and the work can be limited to re-drafting of plans and details only for this unit. Details from mid units must be used to overlay details for the unit of interest (as the original drafter provided greater details that apply for for all units only on the 2nd, 3rd of 4th units)
Quality of re-drafting.
Time-to-delivery (2 weeks)
  1. AutoCAD (2017)
Additional Information
This project has been amended. Two additional files show rough sketches for ideas for updates to original ground and basement floor plans to accommodate a restaurant equipped with flyer, griddle, gas oven and a pizza oven. Using these sketches required is to also overlay these updates over the original plans and create mechanical drawings to support these new floor plans. Changes to layout of restaurant are allowed if one considers necessary or has ideas for a better layout.

Hi - thanks to everyone for the submissions. I have selected helghast as a partial winner (based on the fact that the amendments noted in the Additional Information section were not fully addressed). He has now collected his prize through an amended private contest. Congratulations to helghast and many thanks to everyone!

Thanks for the comments, Adam. What are the guarantees that all requirements will be completed if one prepays?

It's amazing how many people will spend the time for a no gurantee, payment pending contest.

I like this project work. I work on it

With payment pending, it's a substantial time risk for a designer to work on this "contest".
It probably shouldn't be a contest at all since the deliverable is straightforward.

Just my take on it.

I might give it a shot. T-Dot eh? How old are these plans? I could do them in ft-in with secondary units being mm. I am also thinking one DWG for PDF underlays, one to XREF those into floor plans, and a third to XREF the plans into a parent file for the sections and elevations and the project layout sheets. Your thoughts?
I am surprised that Toronto allowed windowless second bedrooms in the inside units, but you're only interested in the end unit at plan east, correct?

Nut Case Puzzle
The product is a hollow bolt that can be unlocked and twisted apart. It’s modelled after the “nut case” puzzle, but should be much higher quality. There should be two nuts threaded to twist up and down the shaft. When the nuts get to the head of each bolt, they should turn freely counter-clockwise to match a number on top of each bolt head. In addition to the primary threads that allow the the nuts to twist up and down the bolt shaft there should be a lip with an opening that lines up with dog clips (or protrusions) at the end of each bolt opposite its head. This opening is matched by lining up a number on the nuts with the appropriate number on the head of the bolt. Once the numbers are matched, the bolts can be pulled apart and the nuts screwed back towards the center of the shafts, pushing the dog clips and separating the bolts. When the nuts meet in the center, the user should be able to rotate the heads of each bolt counter-clockwise to release the nuts and take the puzzle completely apart, or thread the nuts back up the shaft to return the puzzle to one piece.
Sounder Lures - Squid Lure
Create a new lure body that mimics the body of a squid. Using an existing fishing lure CAD design, I would like to put a different body type on the lure. Must be done in bilateral halves for manufacturing via plastic injection mold. I would like the design to include two components. 1. The head of the squid which will be manufactured in hard plastic. 2. The skirt, or tentacles of the squid trailing the squid head as its pulled through the water, which will be manufactured in soft plastic and can be taken off or exchanged with another soft plastic skirt of tentacles.
Myth and Mystique
I am trying to make a silicone mermaid brush. I need a cad design of the tail since the ferrule and hair would be added on. This is a make up brush used for make up. I would like the tail to have scales as well as a bit of pearls.
