Garbage Disposal

Need to design under the sink garbage disposal unit. There are lot of garbage disposals made with a purpose of kitchen waste disposal. The envelope size will be around 6 inches in diameter and about 8-10 inches long. The unit will utilize 1/3 or 1/2 HP motor.

#2 Garburator Concept Design by Decker
I have modelled a concept layout for a garburator today. It is missing a motor, which would be I think a purchased OEM part along with the mounting hardware for the sink. Note I can design or find these parts too just need more time. Attached is a rendering along with a quick assembly drawing showing basic dimensions. This one is actually drawn today by me.

I`m also requesting you to submit a detailed technical sheet with complete dimensions for your purpose. I don`t really get what you expect to do from a low res picture. There are lots of designers who can model something like that, but please give us details, dimensions etc.

Catalin: I am not expecting you to design everything from scratch. I want to see if someone has done something similar for someone else. I will be open to other softwares as well bit will have to see what kind of entries I get. BTW Thanks for your interest in the contest.

First off all Mister Dipesh, if you want a good quality product (because you are asking for manufacturing drawings) you need to give us more information like sink inlet dimension, sewer dimensions, motor dimensions, in inch or in mm? including a very important thing...the shaft of the motor and many more. Based on the information's you offered the best thing that anyone can do is to paint a very nice garbage disposal but hard to manufacture or just copy an existing one. And also you should accept other types of software like Autocad, Solidworks ...including iges and step files.

We are looking for a industrial design (outlook) of a hand pulse detector. This device will consist of the following. 1) Two metal plates on the device that will come in contact with hand when grip on it. This will form a closed circuit between the plates and thereby detect the electrical pulse from the hand (refer to attached for the existing device). Hi, Im looking for someoone who can design a 3d Product Artwork: Product: 3D Artwork of a round Silicon Glass Coaster Dimensions: Width: 6,5 mm, Diameter: 10,9 cm I have a STL file format, where I started the project, but Im not a professional designer, so I need someone who can maybe start by adopting on my design, as you can find a image attached (IMG1853) and change some things: 1. adopt on the dimensions as written above. 2.add floral structure on the elements/flowers but leaving a straight level at the end. 3. add structure to the buttom and leave here also a straight level at the end. 4.I need a STEP Format at the end. For better understanding I added some pictures of a similar product I would like to orientate on. Also I have a ai Design where you can orientate on the floral structure (see picture attached), but they cant be all taken because the structure is for silicone printin too complex - so the structure needs to be soften up. The ROBERT project
We would like a fresh set of eyes on our device ROBERT, a rehabilitation robot that release healthcare workers of heavy and continuous lifting which can cause physical strain and pain in the back, loin, wrists and shoulders. We aim to optimise rehabilitation through more frequently and prolonged exercises which can result in fewer complications and a faster retrieval of a patient’s strength. See more at The current look is a mixture of many components comming together which does not result in a uniform design. Further we whish to incorporate a new robot arm, made by the company KUKA, the LBR iiwa version, This will later come in a MEDtech version, similar in use but in white and with a small change to the interface base. CAD data of the industrial version can be used for this design, change is that wiring will come out of the bottom of the medtech version and not the sides like the industrial version, so completely round in base instead of the small square thing on the side of the industrial version (so no visible wires). iPhone/Android Accessory Design Enhancement
This consumer product is an accessory that provides enhanced usability to mobile phones and tablets. The latest design of our "Band" is two parts: 1. Round Base that attaches to the back of the phone (made from a low-friction polymer like polyethylene) 2. A "band" that overlaps with the Round Base (1) and rotates/spins around it. (made from polyethylene over-molded with rubber to provide elasticity to the top band part) The rubber part of the band elongates so that an individual's finger can be placed underneath the band and above the base. The elasticity part is important so it can accommodate different finger sizes. The product allows users to hold the phone more securely. Our current challenge is the design of the "Band" (2). This is where we need the help. As shown in the attached STL file for the Band, there are two circles on either side of the flap that holds the finger down. These circle were put there to provide some added elasticity to the rubber piece. While it does functionally work well, the current design does not look durable or very elegant. We'd like to rethink the band design to make it look incredibly user-friendly, allowing the band to stretch upright to accommodate different finger sizes, while being functionally superior to the current design. Designer will need to provide STL files for my prototyping company to be able to work with.
