A unexperienced 3D designer may offer you a 3D model that looks good, but was built like a house of cards. If you try to modify the model you get multiple failures of features that cost time and money to repair.
Customers should expect more than a CAD model that just looks good, but should expect a usable and stable 3D model for future use that reduces the need for unintended 3D model rework.
