I specialize in mechanical design of machinery, assemblies, sub-assemblies and parts that require extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering and applied physics as well as practical knowledge of manufacturing techniques.
I have degrees in mechanical engineering and applied physics as well as 6+ years of industry experience. Looking for challenging projects to undertake in my spare time (currently employed full time).
Software: Solidworks, Inventor, Fusion360, AutoCAD, Matlab, Python programming language.
Experience:
1. Static steel structures.
2. Industrial equipment such as chain conveyors, belt conveyors, screw conveyors, gates, valves, diverters, live floor dischargers, hopper bins and other bulk solids handling equipment, flow dampers, cyclones, multicyclones etc...
3. High precision mechanics, optomechanics, vacuum compatible equipment, scientific instrumentation.
4. Design for Manufacturing and Assembly - from concept to shop drawings and BOMs.
