About

I'm a final-year Manufacturing and Design Engineering student at the University of Trinidad and Tobago, with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. I design mainly in SOLIDWORKS (commercial licence) and also use FreeCAD, and I focus on parts that can actually be printed or manufactured.

What I can help with:

Recent work:
- Dual-speed electric brush cutter: 23-part SOLIDWORKS assembly with a 16T/60T spur pair (3.75:1) and a planetary stage, a spring and electromagnet clutch, a two-piece housing surface-modelled for injection moulding, and full part drawings with a BOM.
- Compact pick-and-place mechanism: cam-driven carousel with ten spring-loaded arms, simulated in SOLIDWORKS Motion (cam path, contact force and motor torque).
- Actuator cover: reverse-engineered from a photo, checked by overlaying the model on the real part, then 3D printed and test-fitted.

Certificates: SolidProfessor Introduction to SOLIDWORKS and SOLIDWORKS CAM (2.5 Axis Milling), both 2025.
