About
I am a mechanical engineer and independent consultant specialized in piping stress analysis, pipe vibrations, pressure vessel design, and steel structures for industrial plants. I support EPC contractors, engineering firms and plant owners on complex projects in the oil & gas, gas transmission, chemical and energy sectors, from greenfield plants to revamping and troubleshooting.
My expertise covers piping and pipeline stress analysis according to ASME B31 (power, process, liquid and gas pipelines, hydrogen) and European codes such as EN 13480 and EN 1594, including slug flow, support design and piping–structure interaction. I also design and check pressure vessels and heat exchangers to ASME VIII Div.1 and EN 13445, as well as service and pipe rack steel structures based on Eurocodes.
I have hands‑on experience with many international projects (LNG regasification, gas compressor stations, CO₂ and H₂ pipelines, carbon black plants, refrigeration packages, slug catchers, fertilizer and petrochemical units), often working in English‑speaking environments and multidisciplinary teams. Typical scopes include flexibility and nozzle load checks, vibration and pulsation assessment (API 618), lifting analyses, skid and support verification, feasibility and revamping studies.
Main software: CAESAR II, Bentley AutoPIPE Advanced, STAAD.Pro, PV Elite and FEA tools (Salome‑Meca / Code_Aster, NozzlePRO). I am a member of ASME and regularly attend specialized courses and conferences on vibrations, finite elements and forensic engineering. I deliver clear calculation reports, ready for client and authority review, and I am used to working remotely for international clients.
