Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with over 10 years of experience in the OEM and ODM home appliance industry, gained entirely at a globally recognized leading manufacturer. Experienced in guiding products through all phases from concept design to mass production with a focus on mechanical design, DFM/DFA, and industrialization (NPI).
Contributed significantly to the development and launch of the Philips Airfryer XXL in 2017, one of the earliest and most influential products in its category. I worked at a large OEM/ODM consumer product manufacturer with approximately 3000 employees, producing small home appliances for both global and local brands including Philips.
I joined the company in 2014 as a Mechanical Design Engineer focusing on technical drawings and 3D CAD design. Over the years, I took part in the full product development cycle from concept and prototyping to tooling, pilot production and mass production.
My work included plastic injection parts, sheet metal components, die-cast parts and electro-mechanical integration for products such as air fryers, coffee machines, mixers and hand blenders. I was involved in multiple projects for both international and local brands, contributing to design development, manufacturability improvements and production readiness.
During my time at the company, I also participated in cross-functional collaboration with engineering, industrialization and production teams, supporting product validation, pilot builds and design improvements throughout the development process.
I left the company in 2024 due to relocation and transitioned to freelance work. I still occasionally provide consulting support to my former team on selected projects.
