● Designed a new airfryer based on a benchmark product for a local brand. Prepared the BOM and supported commissioning activities. After the digital version was launched, a manual version was also developed with separate design requirements. Initially assigned to the Mechanical Design team, and later, the role of Industrialization Engineer was added. Midway through the project, also took on project management responsibilities. In the final stages, supported NPI efforts at the factory and handed over the completed project to the newly formed internal Project and R&D team. Design finalized, prototyped, and successfully industrialized. Provided consultancy support during production ramp-up after relocation. There were also EU, UK, MEA and manuel-controlled models — each requiring adaptation to different regional standards and mechanical interfaces. o Reviewed 2D and 3D data provided by Philips and created detailed bills of materials (BOMs). o Provided technical support in mechanical design, GD&T, and GR&R throughout the development phase. o Designed and supported the manufacturing of tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures for mass production during the industrialization stage. o Resolved a critical post-release quality issue shortly after production began, which had triggered product returns and market withdrawal risks in key regions. Successfully implemented the solution, contributing to recovery of sales volume and further expansion into new markets. o Coordinated training and development activities in collaboration with the Philips team. o Implemented safety improvements and took corrective/preventive actions, including poka-yoke applications, to eliminate critical risks and project showstoppers during launch. o Collaborated on PLM activities and contributed to the introduction of alternative, more sustainable materials — helping reduce costs and environmental impact.
