About
As a design engineer with extensive experience in pattern-making, specialty manufacturing, and prototyping, I have developed a strong understanding of the engineering principles behind creating molds and patterns, as well as machined parts. I have worked on a variety of projects for leading companies in the automotive industry, including Conmet, Daimler, Volvo, and Tesla. However, my expertise extends far beyond automotive design, and I have experience working with a diverse range of products and industries.
Using Solidworks, I develop 3D models and engineering drawings, ensuring that every product I work on is optimized for manufacturing. I am responsible for quality control processes and work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure that every design meets exacting standards.
As a student pursuing a degree in Mechatronics, I bring a unique perspective to my work. I have a background in web development and have experience developing embedded systems. I am also skilled in 3D printing, which has allowed me to experiment with new designs and quickly produce prototypes for testing.
My freelance services are available to companies looking for a design engineer who can bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to their projects. Whether you need a new mold, a machined part, or a complete product design, I have the expertise to get the job done right. Contact me today to learn more about how I can help you achieve your manufacturing goals.

As a Design Engineer, I lead original and complex projects from conception to completion, ensuring product design is optimized for manufacturability. Using Solidworks 3D CAD and simulation software, I prioritize and complete individual responsibilities for CAD projects, including designing all new tooling and communicating designs to vendors. I also develop rigging and gating designs from internal design sketches or constraints, utilizing both traditional calculations and simulation software.
With my expertise in reverse engineering, I am able to develop 3D models and drawings starting with only a finished part. I direct and assist shop personnel as needed, including assisting with the sampling of new work and collecting documentation. Additionally, I develop process instructions, standard operating procedures, and inspection checklists, perform dimensional inspections, and complete reports.
I have a strong ability to interface with customers and vendors, building 3D CAD files from customer 2D drawings and rough sketches. I am passionate about participating in new product development projects and implementing continuous improvement techniques to optimize efficiency and quality. As a result of my experience and skills, I am confident that I can deliver high-quality work on any freelance project you may have in mind.
