I am a mechanical engineer from South Africa. I am currently finishing up my PhD thesis in the field of Blade Tip Timing (BTT) (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-Intrusive_Stress_Measurement_System) where I have developed novel data processing techniques for rotor blade condition monitoring. This has led to the filing of three provisional patent applications. I am working as a sub-consultant at Enterprises University of Pretoria where I have been in charge of designing structural test setups.
