I have been involved with piping, structural and mechanical equipment in mining & process plant most of my working life. From concept to detail design through to fabrication and construction. My experience as an artisan enhances my abilities to do design of process plants. My experience includes construction supervision of plant where I also were part of the design team.
I have experience in the complete workflow, from surveying pipeline routes, calculation of pipe sizes, friction losses, pump station design, pump selection and incorporating all this into a 3D model using either Inventor, AutoCAD or AutoCAD. From this I produce fabrication drawings for use in a workshop, and construction/assembly drawing to facilitate the construction phase.
