I'm an industrial designer with a strong background in manufacturing, prototyping, and design for production. I work hands-on from early sketches through to final execution — with a focus on real-world usability, material efficiency, and clean, functional design.
My portfolio includes a mix of commercial products and exploratory work — from Nimuno Loops, a LEGO-compatible adhesive tape that reached a global audience through our Viral Indigogo campaign, to Lumkani, a fire detection system for informal settlements, designed with social impact at its core.
I’ve also developed a number of ride-on toys and mobility concepts, which combine my interest and skillsets in mechanics, ergonomics, and playful design. These projects allowed me to explore scale, safety, and movement in new ways — while still working within production, safety, and ergonomic constraints.
A strong understanding of intellectual property, including experience with patents, design registrations, and protecting original concepts through to market.
I'm proficient in CAD, material selection, and design-for-manufacture, and I enjoy navigating the space between technical problem-solving creative exploration and ensure reaching the goals of the business I work with.
I hold a degree in Industrial Design and approach each project with curiosity, clarity, and a focus on bringing useful ideas to life.
