Muhammad Irshaad Sabi is an accomplished Mechanical Design and Development Engineer with over 10 years of experience spanning the automotive, motorsport, and overland equipment industries. He has a proven track record in product design, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing optimization, with hands-on involvement across all stages of the product development lifecycle.
Currently serving as an Engineer at Tenneco Ride Control in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, Muhammad develops and refines shock absorbers for the Aftermarket industry, focusing on performance, durability, and cost efficiency. His role involves product design, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance ride quality and manufacturing efficiency across a range of vehicle platforms.
Previously, he worked as a Design Engineer at Racing Force International (Bahrain) until May 2025, where he specialized in the design and additive manufacturing of racing helmets and safety equipment for globally recognized motorsport brands. There, he produced detailed CAD models, managed prototype development, and collaborated closely with R&D teams to meet stringent FIA certification standards.
Earlier in his career, Muhammad served as a Development Engineer at Gabriel SA (Pty) Ltd, leading multiple shock absorber development projects for OEM and aftermarket clients.
