I am a curious designer aspiring to integrate creativity and manufacturability in all of my work. I have a bachelor's of science in mechanical engineering with a variety of professional experience. I am currently in a rotational program where I try 3 different rotations in a 1.5 year period. I have most notably gained experience designing for additive manufacturing (DfAM), modification for additive manufacturing (MfAM), and designing for machining (not sure if there is an acronym for this).

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, with Certified SolidWorks Professional certification and over 20 years experience designing with SolidWorks. Recently worked using Model-Based Definition, but have 15 years experience doing SolidWorks drawings. I'm Recommended by my most recent supervisor, who was impacted by a downsizing RIF at the metal foundry where we worked. I'm skilled at designing injection molded plastic parts for new product development. I also operated Prusa 3D Printers and Prusa Slicer to rapidly produce production-ready PLA polymer parts onsite.
