Hello, I am a mechanical engineer working in the design and development industry for chemical products and processes. I've previously worked in defense contracting, automotive parts supplier, foundry & castings, plastic thermoforming, and general shop and fabrication with CNC Mill/Lathework. I have compentency in several CAD software programs but primarily use Fusion 360. I'm able to create components, assemblies, kinetic models, sheet metal flat patterns, DXF line work (laser, water, plasma), and drawings (GD&T). I started using AutoCad in 1987 designing automotive testing equipment. I also spent time working directly in the machine shop to get a machinist perspective on the manufacturing process, which helps when preparing detail drawings. Some of the projects I worked on include, Fuel injector test stand, air bag test chamber, seatbelt test stand, transmission dyno, and many other similar projects. I also spent 7 years doing civil design/drafting using AutoCad and ESRI GIS software. As far as education. I took college courses in drafting and computer aided design in AutoCad. I also have an associate degree in radiologic technology.
