I have been a self employed contractor/designer, a carpenter, a BIM technician and software support person for a large university, and a BIM technician for an architectural firm. I'm a manufacturing engineer with cross-functional experience at a professional tool and manufacturing facility — spanning both contract CNC machining and tool and die / mold building operations. That background means I understand how parts are actually made — tolerances, material behavior, fixturing, and manufacturability — not just how they look on screen. My scanning setup is a Revopoint Metro Y Pro blue laser scanner, one of the most accurate portable scanners on the market. I use it to capture complex geometry, clean and optimize mesh data, and build accurate, manufacturable CAD models in SolidWorks. For 3D printing, I run a Creality K2 Plus capable of holding ±.003" tolerances in production. I work primarily in PLA-CF and PETG-CF for applications requiring stiffness and dimensional stability, with standard filaments available for prototyping and general use. I've been doing drafting and design work in one form or another for around 7 years. If the customer isn't getting the product that they are paying for, I'm not doing my job. As of now I will be offering my Services FREE of Charge if Quality requirements are not met. What I mean by this is, before embarking on any project, quality requirements and lead-time will be laid out in detail before any contract is activated. Once both parties agree on quality definitions and lead-times, a contract will be written up guaranteeing the work is completed within the defined requirements or services will be provided for free (if the requirements are not met, services completed up to that point will be given to the customer free of charge).
