I’m Sergio Perez Fontana, an Aerospace Engineer, Manager, and Technologist with over 30 years of experience in Flight Sciences and Structures. My career spans many successful aircraft programs at Boeing, Gulfstream, Bombardier, Bell Helicopter, and Embraer, where I led cross-functional teams in driving innovations through process and design optimization. I’ve led the implementation of advanced methodologies integrating advanced aerospace and exponential technologies for aircraft and other high-performance products maximizing efficiency and effectiveness. I have also developed a deeper specialty in Generative Design and Structural Optimization. Since 2014, I’ve explored and applied topology optimization and AI-driven generative design techniques, leveraging various generative design tools to inspire better, more efficient designs. For example, I contributed to achieving significant weight reduction in thick aluminum plates used to support heavy monuments on the Boeing VC-25B New Air Force One Presidential Aircraft, achieving tangible benefits in structural performance and cost. Traditional design methods often yield heavy, costly parts with underutilized material after long design processes. Every structural component, regardless of the scale of the project or budget, can benefit from my proprietary AI-driven workflows to transform conventional designs into structures that are: - Stronger and lighter: Eliminating unnecessary mass while exceeding performance requirements. - Optimized for manufacturability: Custom-tailored for efficient, scalable production using subtractive or additive processes. - Cost-effective and ready for validation: Minimizing engineering effort and material usage while seamlessly integrating into certification and operational workflows. This approach delivers high-quality structural engineering solutions faster and at a lower cost. Whether you’re developing an advanced component for a Martian flying vehicle or a flying hydrofoil board over water, I bring deep aerospace expertise and advanced AI tools to help you overcome your design challenges.

The company mission is to provide its clients with the best analysis solutions available and the highest level of support and quality possible. The company provides analysis services to almost any imaginable application. Application of the FEA methods range from traditional Aerospace, Automotive and Medical to the Entertainment and Toy industries. AnalysisPros clients include design and engineering firms that have a need for an occasional and reliable analysis services on their designs. This service is an alternative option to companies which do not have large enough volume of analysis that justifies the purchase, maintenance and dedicated personnel for doing the analysis work. It directly translates to saving in time and money by utilizing a company that has the latest FEA technology and experience readily available. By using the service, it is possible to generate a simulation of any designed structure, loaded with almost any imaginable way. Through the use of FEA tools and many years of analysis experience, the virtual testing of any design is made possible in record time. AnalysisPros supports its clients at any stage of the engineering process. The analysis service helps in evaluating feasibility of new design as well as trouble shooting failed design already in the market and finding solutions without the need to prototype and waste time and money. For companies that comply with the ISO 9000 design process and FEMA recommendations, numerical analysis and virtual testing, verification and validation is a must. FEA methods provide the capability for companies to establish a design review at any stage in the project. The benefits of starting analysis early in the design cycle translates later to savings in cost. By validation and verification of the design, before even prototyping, true optimization can be achieved through a predictive testing.

I am an engineer with a broad background of knowledge based on work experience. Starting my career in Aeronautical Engineering for almost two years developing skills in ProE designing, modeling and testing of materials and their implementation. Previous designs in the field of aerospace engineering include the design of a high pressure air system required to test a flight vehicle in high altitude conditions. The high pressure air system required pressure vessels to sustain the operation of the test, and were calculated to be too costly, however using recycled vessels were considered. The recycled vessels then needed to be tested before being put into service on the system. This meant cutting several critical failure sections of the pressure vessel and sending it for tensile, compression, modulus lab data. This data would then need to be scrutinized to the calculated data based on pressure vessel code and good design practice, safety factors etc. The delivery system was then modeled in ProE Creo software to be delivered to in-house machinists for material ordering and assembly, but not until modeled in AnSYS modeling comparison. This system was successfully commissioned by a engineering team effort with my design engineering assistance. Creating databases to clearly log product data, quality reports, team performance, and work load is also one of my skills using Microsoft Office Access. The custom code i wrote in VBA to easily track and print weekly data that would be discussed at design meetings in an effort to improve overall team efficiency. Using ProE to design flight vehicles for test models was also a key piece of experience to tune my design experience in fluid dynamics. As the design went from pencil and paper theoretical calculations, they were transformed into models, later tested by my team and then a full size model delivered to the customer, NASA, for field testing. Many points of aeronautical engineering experience resides in the modeling done in ProE Creo/Wildfire to develop testing models. My mechanical engineering design experience comes from a firm mostly pitched towards the development of public & private schools. We design the mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire protection, and civil systems. All of the engineering is done "in the same house" as the architectural design. My experience circumvents all of the engineering trades in accordance with NYS education code, the supplements, and the current IMC. Designing systems in my current atmosphere allow for the full design to be implemented without value engineering the design like an EPC. Though EPC's are also part of the job. Mechanically, I have designed HW/Steam boiler rooms, AHU systems, VRF, and the like. My fire protection experience stemmed from my family business, meaning i physically installed many types of plumbing systems and fire protection systems; it is a critical component to influence my design practice in HASS and/or AutoCAD. Many engineers call it "the third eye." My plumbing design experience resides in all types of waste and domestic systems for commercial kitchens, assisted living facilities, schools, large residences and small, also churches. As much as possible, I use my local contacts in the gas, electrical and water utilities to make my designs as solid as possible. All of my MEP & FPE design are based on maintaining code requirements while not having the customer pay for unnecessary equipment etc.

I have always enjoyed tinkering with things. I remember my first success: In sixth grade I took apart a fully-functional remote controlled car and after putting it back together I was so excited that it actually worked! That success started a lifetime in the engineering world. I went on to get a BS in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Minnesota. I was fortunate in my career to be exposed to many parts of the manufacturing world - concept design, prototyping, design-for-manufacturing, material selection, metal and plastic molded part design, quality-by-design, 6-sigma, 5S, manufacturing machinery and processes, CAD 3-D design, CFD and FEA, and project management. Now I'm applying my skills to your project. Whether you're project is early concept, manufacturing launch, or somewhere in between, I will apply my education, experience, and creativity to your project, on-time and within budget - Mathew Torgerson
